nidski in the news
Our predictions for the Ski Property Market in 2016 were picked up by well-respected property magazine, French Property News.
You can read more about them in the "Au Courant" section of their February 2016 issue or here.
In a nutshell our thoughts for 2016 are:
- confidence will continue to return as more new-build projects in the French and Austrian Alps come onto the market;
- Buy-To-Ski will benefit from the attacks on Buy-To-Let owernship in the UK. Ski property purchase costs will no longer seem high when UK stamp duty rises come into effect from April 2016;
- sales of ski properties in the Eurozone will outperform those in Swiss ski resorts while the Swiss Franc remains strong; and
- buyers will look with more interest at smaller ski resorts linking into big name ski areas - benefitting from excellent skiing and lower property prices.
While we're on the subject, thanks also to Property Overseas Today and OPP Today for also picking up on our launch.
