Winter

Whistler's ski season runs from November to June and most years snowfall tops 10 metres. The skiing is divided between the two mountains of Whistler and Blackcomb - linked by the Peak to Peak gondola - and it is hard to beat the range of skiing. Beginners to experts are catered for; the latter with powder bowls, couloirs and testing tree-skiing.

Summer

Once the snow has finally melted, the mountains become a haven for downhill cyclists. Down at village level, visitors enjoy golf, time by the lake, bear-viewing, white-water rafting...
