Description
Perched at 1530m on the side of one of Les Gets most popular slopes for both skiing and mountain-biking, Altitude Lodge is the perfect setting for family holidays in all seasons.
The location of this chalet-hotel is unbeatable, with true ski in ski out access to the main slopes of Les Gets (sector Chavannes), with lifts a short scoot away and green, blue and red pistes available for the return route. In the summer, the mountain side is transformed into a big playground for nature lovers, hikers, and mountain bikers, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their favourite summer activities, and peaceful serenity in the warm summer evenings.
This fully-functioning hotel with on-site restaurant has everything to offer its guests, from the three bedroom penthouse level with private lounge, through the stylish and spacious family rooms, several with their own hot tub terraces, right down to the sunny ground level terraces on which guests can relax and take in the views while watching the world scoot by on skis or bikes.
The building has a separate cinema room that can double as a children’s play room or other additional facility (there is a small kitchenette), a sauna and massage suite, a wet entrance for ski storage which also has boot warmers, and there is an internal lift to all floors. The restaurant area, which also doubles as a bar/breakfast room, is serviced by a well-equipped professional kitchen. There are additional storage rooms for equipment and restaurant provisions.
The hotel can sleep up to 29 guests over 8 bedroom suites, most of which are family suites, all with private bathrooms and almost all with a private balcony or terrace. Three of the suites have a private outdoor hot tub.
In addition to the guest rooms, there is also a separate one bedroom apartment, ideal as manager’s accommodation. Several of the rooms, including the staff apartment, are suitable for disabled access.
To the exterior of the hotel, there is plenty of private parking, with potential to create covered parking.
Access to the hotel is via the main up to the slopes, which is kept clear of snow during the winter season. There is also a public car park nearby and several other buildings providing tourist accommodation and restaurant services. A free bus links the area to the main town of Les Gets so guests can also browse around the shops and enjoy the events taking place in the town centre.
