In the pretty hamlet of Mortigliengo, a stone's throw from the historic villa Mazzucchetti, a fine row house subject to a major renovation in 2016 while maintaining the peculiarities of the house.
The house that has an entrance overlooking a typical fenced stone courtyard, on the ground floor there is a room used as a study while in the small cottage adjacent to the courtyard there is a bathroom with sink and toilet, a cellar and a woodshed.
On the first floor of the house which is accessed by a stone staircase with landing with handcrafted cement tiles, we find a bright and large hallway that leads to the spacious living room with access to the garden and a characteristic kitchen, both rooms are equipped with a working fireplace and have the wooden floors.
On the second floor there is access to another hallway overlooking the balcony which leads to the two bedrooms with wooden floors and to the bathroom with shower and window.
On the attic floor which is accessed from the original wooden stairs of the house we find the bedroom for guests and a room used as a closet.
The garden can be reached from the living room and also develops at the back of the house and is easily accessible via an original wooden passage recently built that allows you to use it in the summer for dining outside.
The oil fired boiler is condensing and of the latest generation.
The wood-burning fireplaces are all functional and allow you to heat the various rooms of the house independently.
Although it is an ancient house, the works carried out allow a remarkable living comfort.
The parking is 50 meters from the house.
Mortigliengo is a fraction of the municipality of Campiglia Cervo inhabited even in winter by about ten residents of the hamlet via a characteristic paved mule track to reach the hamlet of Mazzucchetti and the sanctuary of San Giovanni.
From mortigliengo the view extends to the other side of the valley while the sheltered and sunny exposure benefits it climatically.
About 20 minutes from Biella and 1 hour from the main airports and the cities of Turin and Milan.
