Description
In the centre of Rovereto, in the heart of Trentino Alto Adige and therefore just a few kilometres from Lake Garda and the ski resorts, we propose a splendid Liberty villa from the beginning of the twentieth century (1919). In excellent condition, completely renovated in the seventies and continuously maintained over time. The residence is located just a few steps from the pedestrianised historic centre, at the beginning of the most prestigious residential hill of the town, from where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view. Surrounding the villa is a park of about 3000 sqm, partly flat and partly on a hill. From the pedestrian gate you reach the entrance through a beautiful marble staircase, access to the villa opens on an entrance hall that serves as an antechamber to the reception, representation and living rooms and a grand staircase that leads to the upper floors. Also in the living area on the ground floor we find the private study, the kitchen and various service areas. Going up one floor, through the spectacular staircase or with the internal lift, we find the sleeping area: a large hall leads to the master area divided into wardrobe room, hall, bathroom and bedroom. Remaining on the floor we find a second study/library, two more bedrooms and bathroom. On the third floor there is a large gymnasium, two walk-in wardrobes, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has access to a terrace from which there is an enchanting view of the historic centre. The ground floor/basement consists of a garage for 2/3 cars, a wine cellar and a large "stube" with fireplace, dining table and billiard table. The architecture of the villa, the light of the windows and the rooms, the luxurious finishes, the wide spaces and its history, make it a unique and exclusive residence, which is well suited to any destination. Important and noteworthy is the privileged location of the villa: very close to Corso Bettini, Piazza Rosmini and the MART museum of contemporary art, which can be reached on foot in just a few steps.Nestled between hills and vineyards, Rovereto is at the centre of the Adige Valley, along the main road linking Verona and Trento. Walking through the streets of the city, you can admire the important and prestigious 18th century buildings, from the Accademia degli Agiati, to the Zandonai Theatre, to the Civic Library in the Palazzo dell'Annona. Many illustrious guests have visited Rovereto. The most famous is perhaps Mozart, who held his first concert in Italy in the Church of San Marco.Rovereto is also the City of Peace, as evidenced by the great Campana dei Caduti. Cast in bronze from the cannons of the nations that took part in the First World War, its 100 chimes spread a universal message of peace every evening. Nearby, the shrine of Castel Dante contains the remains of over 20,000 soldiers.
