USA Ski Resort Guide

The USA attracts nearly 56 million visitors annually, and it is not hard to see why – big mountains, epic terrain and lots of snow mean excellent skiing conditions all season long.The States can claim ownership of some of the most famous resorts in the world – Aspen, Vail, Jackson Hole, Alta, Snowbird and Park City just to name a few, but the smaller resorts such as Whitefish and Taos can be just as epic – with fewer crowds. The sheer number of ski resorts dotted around the country mean that there is something for every level of rider to be found. Whether you are looking for steep couloirs, powder bowls or family friendly cruising, you will find it in America.

Although travelling to the USA involves a lot more time and money than travelling in Europe, the value for money on property and propensity to rent out your home make it a worthwhile investment if the States is where you like to ski. This is especially true as many of the larger ski resorts are dual-season, so there is an opportunity to rent out your property in the summer months too.
