Ski Pass Time! 27th September 2016

Ski Pass Time!

The summer has left, autumn has arrived and winter is on its way. All winter pros know that if you’re going to put in any serious mountain time, buying your ski pass before the season starts can save you thousands of Euros (or Dollars, Levs, or Yens depending on where you want to ski). We have rounded up a couple of the Northern Hemisphere’s best value lift passes for the 2016/17 winter season.

First up is the Mountain Collective Pass. Get in quick because this one is nearly sold out! Perfect for someone going to North America to do a tour of their best slopes, this pass includes 2 days at each of: Aspen, Alta/Snowbird, Squaw Valley, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Taos, Telluride, Mammoth, Stowe, Lake Louise/Sunshine, Whistler-Blackcomb as well as the Remarkables in New Zealand and Thredbo in Australia for a southern Hemisphere winter in 2017. Each subsequent day at any of the resorts is 50% off and there are no blackout periods. The Mountain Collective Pass also includes skiing in Chamonix, France and Valle Nevado, Chile and Hakuba Valley, Japan. For the bargain price of $409, if you’re thinking of going on a North American winter adventure, this is the way to do it.

Next up is the Epic Pass. While there are different types of Epic Pass available with more restrictions the less you pay, we’re going to focus on the unrestricted pass which comes in at US$829. If you’re spending a season in the States, this pass is for you. Unlimited 2016/17 winter season access to some of the world’s best – Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar, Kirkwood, Wilmot, Afton Alps, Mt Brighton, Arapahoe Basin and Perisher in Australia – all with no blackout period. In addition to this, you also have access to 30 European resorts across Austria, France, Switzerland and Italy. Click here for more info!
